Med Job Louisiana is a non-profit recruitment and retention program designed to assist rural and underserved communities located in Louisiana Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and non-metropolitan areas attract qualified health professionals to improve citizens’ access to primary care services.

The Med Job Louisiana program Web site, www.MedJobLouisiana.com, offers Louisiana health care facilities the ability to post available positions and to update them as needed. Download, complete, and return the New Client Form to have a FREE job posting account set up on the website. Recruiters
The Med Job Louisiana recruitment team is provided free of charge for the professional services to assist medically underserved communities in the recruitment and retention of primary care physicians, dentists, psychiatrists, mid-level practitioners, nurses, and Allied Health professionals.
Communities eligible for primary care recruitment services include all facilities and practices in HPSAs. Questions regarding a community’s HPSA status, or requests for an area to be reviewed, can be directed to the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals’ Bureau of Primary Care and Rural Health at 225.342.4702.
